Gala Room Hold
In order to reserve a room for the gala at a discounted rate, a $100 hold will be required. If you cancel your reservation after you booked your room, the $100 hold will be forfeited. All other reservations that have not been canceled three days prior to the event will receive a refund for the $100 hold. This deposit does not guarantee a room. Deposits will be accepted for two weeks. Once the two weeks are over the hotel will be contacted in order to add additional rooms to the room block. At this point people who have paid a deposit will receive a link to book their room, which will not be charged until February (see Marriott policy for more details). Rooms are on a first come first serve basis. If HSA is unable to secure enough rooms at the discounted rate a refund of the $100 hold will be provided to the people who paid deposit last.
